All of our classes are taught by highly trained professionals with an emphasis on healthy alignment and safe yoga practice. We encourage a non-competitive attitude among our students, with a higher priority placed on internal development than outward achievement.
Heidi Sormaz, Ph.D., E-RYT 500, is the founder, owner and director of Fresh Yoga. She has studied yoga for 19 years and taught for 12. Heidi is a Forrest Yoga Mentor Teacher and has assisted Ana Forrest in her national workshops and teacher trainings. She currently teaches the Forrest Yoga 200-hr Foundation Teacher Training, the Forrest Yoga Advanced Teacher Training, teaches and designed the Fresh Yoga 200-hr Teacher Training, travels nationally to present workshops and teacher training, has taught at Kripalu, Esalan and in the Windhorse Forrest Yoga Conference. Heidi has been featured in Yoga Journal and was selected by The Great Course to design their first course on yoga; Yoga for a Healthy Mind and Body.
